Public Notice of Sealed Auction

Used 1997 Kawasaki KZ1000P Police Motorcycle with 31K/Mi.  Purchased in 2004 from the City of Kent, Wa as a training bike for the Milton Police Department’s Motors Officer(s).  The City of Kent Mechanics provided maintenance on the bike when needed as they had the historical records.  The bike was ridden and used as a commuter by MPD Officers for years in mostly fair weather.  It was parked in 2010? And hasn’t started since.  The motor turns-over and the carburetor Gasket(s) have rotted away over time.  Brakes, Clutch, Transmission and Motor worked when parked.  Had been stored inside initially but most recently been stored outside in the elements.  Will need to be trailered for removal.  It will not have the Blue lenses attached unless the winning bidder/buyer is current/former Law Enforcement.  The License Plate will be retained by Milton PD.

1997 Kawasaki is being sold in AS-IS condition with no-warranty, implied or other.  It is understood that the Sale implies no warranties from the Seller. The aforementioned property being sold is on an “AS-IS” basis and any known or unknown defects shall be the sole liability of the Buyer. Buyer acknowledges this liability with their submitted bid and signature.  Buyer/Bidder must be of legal age to purchase.

See bid form for deadlines and complete process.
