The City of Milton will begin a city-wide flushing project on May 24, 2021. We will start flushing on 5th Avenue near the Lloyd's gravel pit site and work our way from there. How quickly we move will be determined by how long it takes to clean each section of the water main. You can view our real-time map to see where we are at in the City. Along with the map, we will be putting out sandwich boards in the neighborhoods a day or two prior to starting. If you haven't already, please take the time to read the water flushing information that was included in your utility bill. It has information about the process as well as helpful hints on what to do if you get dirty water when we are in your area. Please also note that areas next to the currently flushing area (green on the map) may also experience some discolored water. We do our best to keep the water in the active flushing area, however it’s not always possible.
