The City of Milton, along with the support of our Events Committee, has made the decision to cancel Milton Days for 2020. This decision was difficult and was not taken lightly.
Thousands of hours go into the planning and execution of Milton Days. It is a huge undertaking and Covid-19 has restricted that planning. This was not the sole factor of our decision but played a part. The decision was primarily made because information shows that we will not be in Phase 4 by August 15th. Should we be fortunate enough to be in Phase 4 by the beginning of August, the unknown factor makes the planning extremely difficult.
We understand the need for community connection especially at this time, and the importance of Milton Days. We need it just as much as all of you. Once in Phase 4, we will look for ways to connect as a community. Until then, stay safe, follow the guidelines and we’ll see you for an even bigger and better Milton Days in 2021!
