Building Division
The Building Department oversees building and construction related activities to protect the public health, safety and welfare of our residents and visitors pursuant to uniform construction codes governing land use and code compliance. The City of Milton enforces the 2018 International Building Codes, Washington State Amendments and Washington Administrative Code.
Visit our online portal to search permits, schedule inspections, and track permits. Need help? Check out our Online Portal Instructions.
Inspections are generally performed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon until 3pm. Inspections will be managed based on staff availability and efficiency so the date of the inspection may be changed, please continue monitoring the project via the online portal for updates.
