ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD
The Economic Development Board consists of seven members who shall be representative of the industrial, business, and residential composition of the City and one to three from the City Council as nonvoting liaisons. Voting members shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council. The three year terms expire January 31st. The Board advises the City Council regarding community-wide economic development issues, to monitor, assess, strengthen and implement the existing strategies of the City’s Economic Development Plan and to serve as a sounding board for various business community interests. The Board meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 12:00 noon in the Council Chambers.
